WORSHIP LEADING

God-honoring worship is what we strive for. Church members get involved in song leading. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of Barlow Vincent, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

USHERS/GREETERS

The usher teams at Barlow Vincent fill an important role. They are involved in welcoming attendees, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of the Barlow Vincent Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. Media includes PowerPoint, webpages, sound and recording booth and general computer skills.

BIBLE CLASS

In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, Barlow Vincent holds bible class after each worship service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context

and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly bible teaching

volunteers have an endless stream of creativity, biblical knowledge and a passion for children.

The majority of our teachers are or have been school teachers at the high school and college levels.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY/NURSERY

Every Sunday night before the worship service begins children have an opportunity to get involved

with Children’s Church. The goal of Children’s church is to help the children in understanding

and truth of the scriptures. Barlow Vincent is also equipped with a nursery room and accessories

for the needs of babies and their mothers.
